Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a native of Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Her father Sergey (d. 2019) was an Ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka's birthplace was Minsk Belarus the 5th of May 1998. Aryna is the holder of twelve WTA Singles titles. One of which was the Grand Slam at the Australian Open 2023. For doubles she's extremely skilled. She's been a winner of two majors along with Elise Mertens: the US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. Together with the Belgian tennis pro, she won the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami in 2019, thus completing an appearance in the Sunshine Double. Just four pairs of women's tennis were able to achieve this feat. Her ranking went from second to third place in the world singles rankings on 23 August 2021. Her best ranking was again achieved in the month of January in 2023. She climbed up the doubles ranking in the year following, having triumphing at Melbourne. She became the second Belarusian tennis player succeed in her field. The coach she was working with was an ex- Russian tennis star Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until at the end of season in 2019 and in the first quarter of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was the coach she worked with from August till September 2020. At the time of her retirement, she's been instructed by her host countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova have been her biggest idols.
